Jo is based in Worcestershire but has regularly ran clinics and coached clients all over the world, as well as teaching on a freelance basis in England.  Due to current international travel restrictions, the majority of Jo’s training now takes place online, which provides a great opportunity to obtain qualifications, skills and awards towards a variety of BHS career pathways.  Alternatively, training is also offered to enable you to gain a better knowledge of the health and welfare of your horse and how to care, handle and ride him/her.

“As a good horseman you should have a very broad breadth and depth of as much as you can, so say yes to everything and try everything…. Be inquisitive and say yes” Jo Winfield

horse training

Jo’s passion for horses ensures that she is as enthusiastic about helping pupils obtain academic equine qualifications as she is about helping you to handle your horse and build a mutually trusting relationship with them. Consequently, Jo currently splits her time between Equine Experts online training and lecturing at Harpbury College.

Jo is also available to provide 1:1 and small group training and she would encourage you to contact her to discuss what you specifically require and examine a structured programme of tailored training.

Jo prides herself on her flexibility and knowledge, so training really can be personalised to meet clients’ needs, eg. flatwork, jumping and exam training. Jo’s Fellowship of the BHS, standing as a British Eventing Coach and position as a British Dressage Level 4 Judge demonstrates her skills, qualifications and experience across all disciplines and she specialises in helping riders and horses at all levels to perform to their full potential.  Contact Jo to discuss your equine training needs or you can find out more about Equine Experts here.
